The H-H is a unique archery hunting ranch
located in Bandera, Texas, the heart of the Hill Country. The H-H is a third generation
working ranch consisting of 1,200 acres. The ranch has been under a TPWD approved Wildlife
Management program since 1999. This program requires that we continue to improve the ranch
habitat for wildlife every year, and is annually inspected by our assigned wildlife
biologist. This MLD Program offers some benefits to hunters. You can use our MLD
tags instead of your Whitetail deer tags and we offer an extended hunting season (ends 28
February). The habitat consists of both hills and lush bottomland, two live springfed
creeks, with a variety of oaks, pecan, black walnut, cedar and persimmon trees. We plant a
20 acre food plot yearly, feed protein and corn all year, and run a corn route daily. We are experienced archery hunters and have set up our hunting program with your success in mind. You are welcome to bring your own blinds/stands, but we provide blinds for you. Our blinds are a combination of quad pods, tree stands and Doublebull Archery ICE (ground) blinds ( deadly effective, and large enough for two people to share). These blinds are set up all year, and are carpeted to muffle sound. We provide hunts for a variety of game: Whitetail, Sika, Fallow, and Axis deer, Black Buck antelope, Rio Grande turkey, and feral hogs. The lush springfed bottomland provides a home for quite a population of turkey roosting along the tall pecan tree bordered creek. We enjoy a high hunter success rate because we only offer a select number of hunts, have permanent blinds, and feed all year. Lodging is included with all hunts, includes a fully equipped cabin with open floor plan, kitchen, shower, A/C, fireplace, satellite TV, VCR, and a bunkhouse. We can accommodate up to 10 hunters, but prefer a party of 4 to 6 . AMENITIES > Established blinds furnished for 15 yard shots, year around. > Fully furnished lodging. > Bar-b-que pits and picnic tables at cabin and bunkhouse. > Broadhead target and 3d range of 20 targets set up along a tree shaded creek. > Lighted game cleaning area with electric game hoist. > 400 pound commercial ice machine to ice your game. FEES: A hunt fee of $150.00 per day, 2 day minimum, includes access to all amenities. Youths (16 and under) are half price with a paying adult. Non hunters are $25.00 per day, children free. Kill fees are as follows: > One hog per day at no additional charge. > Whitetail does and spike bucks are $50.00 each. > Whitetail bucks 15" to 18" measured inside beam to inside beam are $750.00, 18" plus are $1000.00. > Axis, Fallow, and Black Buck does are $200.00. > Axis bucks measuring up to 24" are $450.00, over 24" to 33" are $750.00. > Axis bucks over 33" are $1,000.00. (No bucks in velvet). > Black Buck antelope are $750.00. > Turkey are $50.00 for beards 5" or less. Turkey with beards over 5" are $100.00. Double beards= $150.00. Triple beards = $200.00.
